An activity built around your own photo
The photo tool in the Colouring Book Creator turns an uploaded image into one colouring page, rather than a whole book. Prepare the crop before conversion, check the AI Coin cost and review the resulting PNG. A clear subject against a simple background gives the AI less visual clutter to interpret.
From original image to colouring page

The hero shows an illustrative photo/colouring-page pair. The gallery pairs matching original artwork and colouring pages supplied by the creator; these are not live conversions or independently verified results. AI results vary, including fine details and lettering; review your page before printing or using it.
Features
Upload a familiar image
Start with a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 20 MB. Choose a sharp photo with a subject that is easy to distinguish from its surroundings.
Frame the subject
Use crop and zoom to focus on the part you want to colour. Leave enough space around important outlines instead of cropping tightly through faces or limbs.
Correct the orientation
Quarter-turn rotation lets you straighten a sideways upload before conversion. Check the final framing after rotating.
Check the conversion cost
The required AI Coins are displayed before conversion so you can review the cost before starting the AI step.
Download one colouring page
The output is a PNG of a single colouring page. Review it before printing or placing it into your own activity layout.
Prepare for AI interpretation
Busy backgrounds, shadows and very small details can make outlines harder to interpret. Pick a simpler source photo when those details matter.
Who is it for?
Family activities
Turn a familiar family scene into a personal colouring activity. Use photos you own or have permission to use.
Pet portraits
Start with a well-lit pet photo where the face and body stand out. Crop away distracting furniture or background objects.
Classroom prompts
Use a suitable photo of a plant, object or local scene as the starting point for a colouring and discussion activity.
How it works
Choose and upload your photo
Open the photo tab and choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP file no larger than 20 MB. A clear, well-lit subject is a useful starting point.
Adjust the framing
Crop, zoom and rotate in quarter turns until the subject is upright and the details you want are inside the crop.
Review the AI Coin cost
Check the displayed cost before starting conversion. Tool access depends on your account and the current rollout.
Review and download the PNG
Inspect the generated outlines, then download the single-page PNG. Check its appearance at your intended print size.
Frequently asked questions
Which photo formats and file sizes are supported?
Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 20 MB. If your photo uses another format or exceeds the limit, convert or resize it before uploading.
Can I crop or rotate my photo before conversion?
Yes. The photo workflow includes crop, zoom and quarter-turn rotation. Use these controls to orient the photo and keep the main subject inside the frame before starting the AI conversion.
What makes a useful source photo?
Choose a sharp, well-lit image with a clear subject and a relatively simple background. Tiny patterns, heavy shadows and overlapping objects can be harder for AI to turn into readable outlines. The result is an interpretation, not an exact tracing.
Does conversion use AI Coins?
Yes. The AI Coin cost is displayed before conversion. Review that cost and your available balance before starting; creating an account does not promise included or unlimited conversions.
Do I get an SVG or a complete colouring-book PDF?
No. This photo workflow returns a PNG for one colouring page. It does not provide an SVG or a full colouring-book PDF. You can use the downloaded PNG in a separate layout or printing workflow.
Why might the photo tool be unavailable in my account?
Availability is controlled by account access and the current rollout. This public page describes the workflow, but does not guarantee that every account can use it immediately.
